Versatile 24-70mm Focal Range
This standard zoom lens is the perfect all-rounder, covering a vast range of subjects from wide-angle landscapes and street scenes to natural-looking portraits and events, making it an essential lens for any kit.
Professional S-Line Optics
As part of Nikon's elite S-Line, the lens features an advanced optical design with one ED element and three aspherical elements, ensuring outstanding sharpness, minimal distortion, and superior clarity from the centre to the corners of the frame.
Constant f/4 Maximum Aperture
The fixed f/4 aperture provides consistent exposure settings throughout the entire zoom range, making it ideal for maintaining control and working in a variety of lighting conditions without adjusting shutter speed or ISO.
Compact, Retractable Design
The unique retractable mechanism allows the lens to collapse for an incredibly small and lightweight form factor when not in use, making it an excellent, portable companion for your Z Series camera.
Nano Crystal Coating
Nikon's advanced anti-reflection Nano Crystal Coating is applied to lens elements to effectively eliminate flare, ghosting, and internal reflections, ensuring superior contrast and colour fidelity, even when shooting into bright light sources.
Robust & Weather-Sealed Construction
Designed to meet the demands of professional use, the lens features comprehensive sealing to protect against dust and moisture, allowing you to shoot confidently in challenging outdoor environments.
Multi-Focus System for Silent Autofocus
Utilises a fast and virtually silent stepping motor (STM) for precise autofocus, making it ideal for both still photography and seamless video recording without distracting operational noises.
Customisable Control Ring
A programmable control ring on the lens barrel allows you to assign your preferred function, such as aperture, ISO, or exposure compensation, for a more streamlined and intuitive shooting experience.
Fluorine Coated Front Element
The front element is treated with a fluorine coating, making it highly resistant to dirt, dust, moisture, and smudges, simplifying cleaning and maintaining optical clarity.
