1. Helps prevent paper jams: Oil sheets lubricate shredder cutters and help maximise performance / prevent paper jams.
2. Easy to use: To oil your shredder, simply feed one sheet into the paper entry and run the shredder in reverse for 2-3 seconds. Repeat each time the bin is emptied.
3. Maintain good shredding performance: If you use your shredder occasionally, then oiling your shredder may only be necessary every two months to maintain good performance. If you use your shredder a lot then Fellowes recommend you oil your cross cut shredder every time you empty the waste bin.
4. Important: Do NOT tear sheet open. Simply pass the oil lubricant sheets through the paper shredder.
